Friends

I am fortunate. I really am. Having a child with special needs brings you into contact with many parents/carers with children. Children with additional needs and their siblings too. In the past 6 years since we got diagnosis I have made some really good friends. None of them live near me but still I know where they are. Sometimes we meet, sometimes we don't but when we speak its like yesterday since we spoke last. We help each other through the hard times and shout loud for the good times. I would say I was blessed. I am not blessed for my daughter to have a serious condition but I am blessed to have found people I love and whom love me and my daughter because of it. So thank you.

And then....I have a friend whom has no children with special needs. My girl soulmate she called me. and she needs me right now. I love you S...you will be ok xxxxxxxx
