Pat your stomach, and rub your head..

I love those type of lists but don't you just hate those kind of days. I am finding it amusing so am going to record my day today.

Today I

Got up, moved electrical stuff out of the living room ready for painter.
Printed off some charity stuff to post and posted said items
Drove to Uni
Studied for 1 hour over yucky coffee before first lecture
Learnt about care pathways in a lecture
Had break, amidst studying the immune system, eating lunch and socialising with uni friends, my mobile phone which was on silent kept being called by various people whom I had to call back.
Then afternoon lecture was cancelled so studied more in the library and left at 3
Came home and needed to phone back more people. (I hate 1571 btw!)
Went to the gym to exert myself and burn a few calories before going out to eat tonight.

Phone calls today - all not short ones!

2 to wheelchair services to discuss wheelchair voucher scheme
2 to B's school to discuss visit on Friday plus taking Beth home early
d1 to B's physiotherapist to discuss the need for supporting reports from her for funding opportunities for the Balder w/chair
2 to one of B's carers with whom I am having tax code issues
1 to the payroll company that provides payslips for me to give to said carer.
1 to a charity that is waiting for an end of grant report from me for several weeks..eek
1 to my mum who wanted to know what time to come on Friday as she is B sitting for the weekend.
and various received too which i answered of course. In addition, alot of emails to and frooing on various things including wheelchair related items and a wedding oop north in two weeks of which time must be found for lunch beforehand along the way and a toilet to change in!

May not seem like much but each of the above conversations resulted in an action required after. Sometimes it feels like I spend my life sorting, sending emails, putting stamps on letters and printing, printing and more printing. Oh and I forgot CHASING! How could I forget that one....its a job role for many of us...chasing the professionals.....

oh and get this.....B's new recently part purchased/part funded manual wheelchair....no head rest....I didn't notice it wasn't ordered, her physio didn't think about it....no head rest = no rest...no head rest = no travelling in it in an adapted vehicle.......DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..

oh but hey it was 18 degrees centigrade here today...woo hoo....not quite time to get the white legs out though I don't think

Anyway off to go lick an envelope

byeeeeeeeeeeee
