Giddy up

On Thursday I went to see Beth doing her horseriding lessons through the Riding for Disabled near to her school. I was absolutely amazed by her and found it very hard not to cry because she has done so well. In seven weeks she has gained in confidence and even gained strength in her trunk and improved her balance on the horse.

She can now steer a bit and did her first outdoor trot. The therapeutic benefit of this is unbelievable as well as how much it has done for her confidence. It has also put her in a situation where she has to communicate to others she doesnt know - namely her helper and also to her horse Rosie!

Trotting!
