Ouch

Ok I am not needle phobic and good job really since I am training to be a nurse. But today I nearly cried, honestly, when the doctor put a needle in my skin under my eye. TWICE! I had two skin tags removed under local anaesthetic at the hospital. They were very close to my eye. The result was what looks like a ski tan on one eye. You know the white goggles/sunglasses marks..and i am a bit one eyed puffy apparently. Then not feeling anything but knowing he was cutting away at them, then smelling the burning as he was cauterizing....(sorry!). After the op I had to sit for a while cos half my eye was numb. A very weird sensation I can tell you.

The nurse holding my hand was very nice though.
