A touch of Burgundy

Today I received something in the post which made me smile. I have had a bit of a yucky week with one thing or another and one day involved a very weepy phone call with a friend of a child with special needs whom I don't see very often. That one chat showed me I wasn't alone with my raging emotions and helped me alot.

She knows that I am trying to cut down my wine drinking and M and I are not drinking at home unless entertaining. So today a little box smelling lovely comes through the post. She has sent me a candle. It is called Burgundy - with lovely words including "maybe a candle named after a wine might be a good substitute. It will last longer". Bless her.
